THE RECEPTION OF THE THREE FIRST YEAR NOVICES
On 1stJanuary 2021, three postulants were received to the Novitiate as first year novices. The two communities of Mbikko novitiate community and Sophie Barat community witnessed the ceremony, when Cellina Komweru, Francusca Gyavira Nakagera and Veneranda Nabisenke were received to begin their novitiate formation in the Society of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
At Mass, the Novitiate Community was thrilled to have these three young women who had been living and working with us for a year.
It is at this stage that the novices are learning Jesus’ way of life in the Society of the Sacred Heart, how to pray and how to live in community. As they begin their formation, we commend them to the Lord to teach and form them into what he wants them to be and pray for them to be open to learn from Christ.
I thank God for the gift of their vocation. May they continue to walk in the light of God.
We pray for more vocations to the Society. The Lord is already doing something good for us.
